Iben Sandahl is a teacher, author and a licensed narrative psychotherapist with her own practice just outside Copenhagen. Her specialty is in the counselling of families and children. Originally trained as teacher, Iben worked in the Danish Educational System for 10 years before earning her degree in Narrative Psychotherapy. She is extremely passionate about her work, and is often cited by the Danish National Radio and various media outlets worldwide.

Iben Sandahl is the bestselling author of The Danish Way of Parenting: What the Happiest People in the World Know About Raising Confident, Capable Kids, which has taken the world by storm, having been translated into 22 different languages and has been featured in numerous media outlets such as The Washington Post, The Huffington Post and The Guardian.
