Patrick is Chief Marketing Officer at Course Hero, a leading online learning platform that helps students and educators succeed.  He also serves as a board advisor to a number of early stage companies including Connect, Nextinit, 123AI and Quantum Bakery and as a mentor to 500 Startups.  Previously, he was an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at Signia Venture Partners and also served on the advisory board of Onavo (a mobile apps analytics company acquired by Facebook) and Distimo (an apps analytics / data firm acquired by App Annie).

With over 15 years experience in mobile, Patrick is a veteran of the mobile app space with experience both on the distribution side of the business as well as the content development side. He was CMO / global head of marketing for Google Play, where he led the creation of the Google play brand and the launch of Play Movies, Music, Books and Games, and at GetJar (an Accel portfolio company acquired by Sungy Mobile) where he was CMO.  Patrick has worked extensively in the mobile games industry at both glu mobile (where he was part of the executive management team that took the company public) and I-play and was inducted into the Pocket Gamer Hall of Fame in 2014 for his contributions to the industry.

Considered a go-to expert in mobile, Patrick has appeared regularly in the press including CNBC, Pim Fox’s “Taking Stock”, CBS, WSJ, Techcrunch, All Things D and has spoken at conferences including SXSW, CTIA, GDC, Casual Connect, GMIC and the Mobile Marketing Association forums.  Patrick holds an MBA from Insead and a BSFS from Georgetown.
