About the topic: Handling Stress

We seem to have finally learned there is indeed such a thing as stress, however do we also realise just how dangerous stress can actually be?

Stress is when we work our body and our mind too hard, when we take on too many tasks, work too hard. One deadline follows the other, while working on one assignment three or four are waiting.

In the end the body and sometimes also the mind will say stop. This may result in mood swings, depression-like symptoms as well as physical conditions such as headache, sore muscles, stomach aches, high blood pressure and, in extreme cases, paralysis.

Keynote speakers on handling stress typically talk about what can be done to prevent stress and to fight stress. Something can and should indeed be done – stress is no joke.
