Anahita Moghaddam is an executive coach, international speaker and founder of Neural Beings in New York. Her work centers on understanding the mind and unlocking its potential for wisdom, clarity and happiness in a world defined by rapid technological and cultural change. Drawing on years of coaching senior leaders, global fieldwork and deep studies in Indian and Tibetan philosophy, she offers powerful tools for leading with awareness and creating healthier, more adaptive organizations.
Anahita Moghaddam is the founder of the New York–based coaching and training company Neural Beings, where she works at the intersection of leadership, psychology and contemplative wisdom traditions. She is recognized for her ability to translate complex concepts about the mind into clear, actionable frameworks that support leaders navigating high-pressure environments. Her approach blends scientific insight with philosophical depth, giving audiences a rare combination of practical and transformative guidance.
Born in Iran and raised in Germany, Anahita developed a multicultural perspective early in life. She later earned an MA in Social Anthropology from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. Her academic background sharpened her curiosity about human behavior, cultural systems and the deeper patterns that shape decision-making. This foundation informs her work today as she helps executives see beyond habitual thinking and cultivate a mindset rooted in awareness and intentionality.
Before founding Neural Beings, Anahita worked as a journalist producing macro-economic country reports for major international outlets such as Forbes, The Washington Post and The Times of London. Her role took her to Croatia, Indonesia, Botswana and the UAE, where she interviewed heads of state and senior business leaders. These experiences gave her direct exposure to the complexities of global systems, leadership styles and organizational realities across diverse cultures. They also strengthened her ability to ask incisive questions and connect insights across disciplines, skills that later enriched her coaching work.
In 2014, Anahita launched Neural Beings in New York City with the vision of helping individuals and organizations understand the mind as a primary instrument for well-being and performance. Since then, she has coached more than 150 individuals, most of them senior executives seeking clarity, emotional resilience and deeper purpose in their leadership. Her programs encourage leaders to explore the underlying beliefs that drive their actions and to cultivate habits that support sustained growth.
Anahita has delivered talks, workshops and masterclasses at over 60 events around the world. She regularly works with Fortune 500 companies, including Lufthansa and SAP, where she guides teams through practical frameworks for navigating rapid change. Her sessions combine storytelling, cognitive tools and contemplative exercises that help participants recognize and shift unproductive patterns. She has also been featured on entrepreneur.com and Huff Post Live, expanding her influence to a broader international audience.
Her work resonates strongly in today’s tech-driven landscape, where leaders are expected to make fast decisions while managing emotional and cognitive load. Anahita’s ability to help audiences slow down, examine their mental models and reconnect with purpose makes her a compelling voice for organizations looking to build healthier cultures and more adaptable leaders.
A defining element of Anahita’s path is her long-standing study of Indian and Tibetan philosophy and psychology. She has trained under the guidance of the 14th Dalai Lama and studied with neuroscientists, psychologists and evolutionary biologists at the Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science in New York City. This unique combination anchors her work in both ancient wisdom and modern science, allowing her to speak fluently to the emotional, cognitive and behavioral dimensions of leadership.
Her teaching style is clear, grounded and engaging. Audiences often remark on her ability to make complex ideas accessible without losing depth, offering tools that can be applied immediately to personal and professional contexts.

Keynote by Anahita Moghaddam:
Global culture is rapidly transforming as digital technology, in particular AI, becomes an integrated aspect of how we see and engage with reality. Many leaders are challenged as they try to keep up with the growing complexity and demands of the hyper-paced digital economy while also leading their teams through this time of uncertainty and change.
The leader who can navigate this new climate, rolemodeling the social, emotional and ethical skills needed, such as self-awareness, mental flexibility and empathy, can encourage their teams to participate in shaping this new era of possibility. A leader who recognizes that we must make progress in wisdom as fast as we make progress in technology.
Keynote by Anahita Moghaddam:
Women, Wisdom & Leadership is a deep and personal exploration of the feminine principle, its tendency toward disconnection and compromise, and its potential for happiness, fulfilment, and social transformation. In this talk/ workshop, Anahita guides participants through a rigorous cause-and-effect process, beginning with a realistic examination of the modern female experience, shaped by both internal and external challenges. Drawing on sociological and anthropological research, she helps the audience uncover the far-reaching consequences of low self-awareness, chronic compromise, and a lack of selfcompassion, revealing the immense toll these patterns take on women, the organizations they serve, and society as a whole.
When women become aware of the ways they unconsciously withhold happiness, creativity, vitality, and success from themselves, they can begin to make lasting, systemic changes to reverse this cycle of self-sabotage and neglect. This marks the beginning of a woman’s journey toward wholeness, selfmastery, and a purposeful life. The path requires immense self-discipline and the ability to discern between what is essential for growth and what is merely a distraction. A fulfilled and happy woman contributes profoundly to the success of an organization, not only through her innate social and emotional intelligence but also through her creativity, vision, and holistic care.
These are the leadership qualities urgently needed in today’s increasingly fragmented and disconnected world, which remains dominated by outdated and unsustainable views and practices. Women who commit to cultivating wisdom have the capacity to transform the way companies are led and, thereby, act as stewards of the deep, systemic change the world needs, by placing the human experience at the center of all activity.
