Christina Mackay-Nowell helps leaders tackle the human side of performance, from negotiation and engagement to AI-driven change.
Christina Mackay-Nowell is a keynote speaker, workshop facilitator and Managing Director of Venture6 who explores the human side of business performance. Drawing on almost twenty years across investment, entrepreneurship and management consulting, she speaks on leadership, negotiation, employee engagement and navigating disruption in the age of AI. Combining rigorous research with commercial experience, Christina translates complex ideas into clear language, practical tools and actions audiences can apply. She speaks at CEO and board-level offsites, leadership conferences, HR and L&D summits and all-company events.
As technology, expectations and working environments evolve, leaders face increasingly complex questions about how people perform, collaborate and adapt. Christina Mackay-Nowell brings a practical perspective to these challenges, exploring how organisations can better support managers, strengthen negotiation skills and lead people effectively through uncertainty and change.
As Managing Director of Venture6, Christina advises founders, investors and leadership teams across the UK and Europe. This gives her first-hand insight into the decisions, conversations and pressures facing organisations at different stages of growth.
Her approach is grounded in research and shaped by real-world business experience, allowing her to connect evidence with situations leaders encounter every day. Whether delivering a keynote or an in-depth workshop, Christina focuses on giving audiences useful frameworks and ideas they can take back into their organisations.
Christina’s career spans corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, investment and advisory work. Before Venture6, she spent seven and a half years at EY, where she led content for the World Entrepreneur Of The Year programme in an environment centred on entrepreneurship, leadership and business growth.
Her work at EY also included delivering a session at a Women in Leadership Summit for 100 CEOs, contributing to her extensive experience engaging senior audiences around business and organisational challenges.
Today, her work at Venture6 brings her into close contact with founders, investors and leadership teams, giving her a commercially grounded perspective on leadership, growth and organisational performance.
Christina has also delivered a full-day negotiation workshop for a UK-based technology and systems provider and a client keynote in Monaco for a yacht company, demonstrating her ability to work across different industries, audiences and formats.
AI is changing how organisations operate, how people work and how leaders make decisions. Christina examines what this transformation means from a human perspective, focusing on the leadership and management challenges that emerge as technology reshapes the workplace.
Her sessions explore the role managers play in engagement and performance, how leaders can guide teams through disruption and how organisations can maintain strong human leadership as expectations, tools and ways of working evolve.
Drawing on research from Gallup, McKinsey, Google and Harvard, Christina makes evidence accessible and relevant to a business audience. Her speaking topics include:
Negotiation is another core area of Christina’s work. Her approach combines commercial experience with executive education in strategic negotiation from Harvard Business School and HEC Paris.
From working with investors and partners to managing competing priorities and difficult conversations, negotiation shapes decisions throughout an organisation. Christina connects established principles with realistic professional situations, helping participants strengthen the way they communicate, approach discussions and work towards agreement.
Her workshops provide the opportunity to explore these skills in greater depth, giving participants practical approaches they can apply in their own roles.
Alongside her negotiation credentials, Christina has completed Executive Education in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oxford. She holds an MBA from Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, and an MA in International Law with Distinction from the University of Kent.
Her educational background includes:
