10.09.2014 Interview with Dave Pelzer
How have clients in the past described your keynotes?
Here is a quote from one of the events. “Your presentation was heartfelt, warm, touching, very interesting with a touch of humor; but foremost ‘very real’.
How does humor factor into your presentations?
When I use humor in my presentations…the laughter relaxes the audience and this opens them up to receiving my message of resilience and personal leadership.
How do you work with a client to prepare presentations?
I always arrive to the event early and personally sit with my client to listen and discuss the needs of that organization and what they are trying to accomplish for the community.
What is the most unique experience you have had as a keynote speaker?
The events where I can visibly see the attendees receive my message of resilience and personal accountability – then I know I have made a difference in their lives and helped them to move forward.
What type of audience would gain most from your talks?
My audiences are varied from schools, colleges, communities, and foster care agencies to law enforcement and judicial and then on to military leadership conferences and then back to community organizations.
