Bogdan Putinică

From entrepreneur to international technology leader

Bogdan Putinică has spent close to three decades at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship and leadership. His career offers a rare perspective on what it takes to build a company from the ground up, lead within major international organizations and return to entrepreneurship at a moment when artificial intelligence is reshaping how businesses operate.

His entrepreneurial journey began early. In 2000, at the age of 23, Bogdan Putinică founded IP Devel. The company grew to attract international interest, with Adecco acquiring a majority stake in 2006. Two years later, Sweden’s Enea Group fully acquired the business.

Following the acquisition, Bogdan continued his career at Enea, where he held senior leadership positions for more than a decade and ultimately became Senior Vice President. This period gave him extensive experience of leading within an international technology organization and navigating the opportunities and challenges that come with growth, integration and changing markets.

Leadership across 15 countries

In November 2021, Bogdan Putinică joined Microsoft as Country General Manager for Romania, with his responsibilities later extending to Moldova. In July 2024, he was promoted to General Manager for Microsoft’s Central Europe/Eurasia region.

In this role, he led operations across 15 countries, covering a remarkably diverse geographical area that included the Baltic states, Ukraine, Pakistan and Mongolia. Leading across such different markets required an ability to understand local realities while maintaining a broader strategic direction.

Throughout his career, Bogdan has worked with multicultural teams in complex and rapidly changing environments. His experience gives him a practical foundation for speaking about leadership when certainty is limited, technology is moving quickly and organizations need to balance immediate priorities with long-term transformation.

His leadership has also earned recognition in Romania, where he has been named among Business Magazin’s “Most Admired CEOs in Romania.”

At the forefront of agentic AI

After leaving Microsoft, Bogdan Putinică moved deeper into the emerging field of agentic AI. In October 2025, he was appointed to lead the operations of global agentic-AI company Wonderful across 29 countries in Europe and Asia.

Less than a year later, he stepped away to begin another entrepreneurial chapter. As of August 2026, Bogdan is the founder and CEO of Outcome1.AI, which he established alongside co-founder Alex Balint, a former Microsoft, Amazon and Stripe infrastructure engineer.

Outcome1.AI is developing AI “digital employees” designed for small and medium businesses in Europe. The company is launching first in Romania, with plans to expand into Greece, Spain and Poland. The venture is backed by Microsoft for Startups, AWS Activate, NVIDIA Inception and ElevenLabs.

This latest chapter brings together many of the themes that have defined Bogdan Putinică’s career: building businesses, understanding technology, leading through transformation and translating innovation into solutions that companies can use in practice.
