Bryan Clay is a retired American decathlete who was born on January 3, 1980, in Austin, Texas. He attended Azusa Pacific University where he began his athletic career. In 2004, he won a silver medal in the decathlon at the Athens Olympics, and in 2008, he earned the gold medal in the same event at the Beijing Olympics.
Throughout his career, Bryan also won three World Championships (2005, 2007, 2009) and four USA Championships (2004, 2005, 2008, 2009). In addition to his athletic success, Bryan has been recognized for his charitable work, including his support of children's hospitals and his own Bryan Clay Foundation.
