Having presented in 49 U.S. states and around the globe, Jeff delivers practical insight that helps organizations protect themselves, communicate effectively during crises and lead with credibility in high-risk environments.

Jeff Lanza – FBI Experience That Sets the Standard

Jeff Lanza spent over 20 years as an FBI Special Agent, working complex investigations involving cybercrime, fraud, organized crime, human trafficking and terrorism. He later served as head of operations security for the Kansas City FBI, where trust, judgment and integrity were non-negotiable. A graduate of the world-renowned John E. Reid School of Interviewing and Interrogation, Jeff is also a certified FBI instructor who trained government agencies and corporate leaders in interviewing techniques, operational security and behavioral analysis. This rare combination of investigative depth and instructional expertise is what makes his presentations both authoritative and immediately useful.

Cybercrime, Identity Theft and Digital Threats

Cybercrime is one of the fastest-growing threats facing organizations today, and Jeff Lanza has been on the front lines of these cases long before they became daily headlines. He has developed and delivered extensive programs on identity theft prevention, including a nationwide initiative used to educate Citigroup employees across the United States. His latest book focuses on cyber security, drawing on real FBI investigations to show how criminals think, how attacks unfold and what leaders can do to reduce risk. As a regular commentator on national television, Jeff helps audiences understand the human and technological factors behind cyber threats.

Leadership, Ethics and Crisis Communication

Beyond cybercrime, Jeff Lanza is widely respected for his work on leadership integrity, ethics and crisis communication. His leadership integrity program has been certified for education credits across the United States and is designed to help leaders make sound decisions under pressure. Jeff explores how credibility is built, how it is lost and how organizations can protect trust when stakes are high. His sessions on crisis communication provide practical tools for navigating public scrutiny, internal challenges and fast-moving events with clarity and confidence.

Body Language and Human Behavior

As a certified FBI instructor and expert in interviewing and interrogation, Jeff Lanza brings deep insight into body language and human behavior. He has trained numerous government agencies and corporate clients on how to interpret non-verbal cues and project confidence, authenticity and authority. These skills are especially valuable for leaders, negotiators and teams operating in high-pressure environments where communication breakdowns can be costly.

Jeff Lanza is a professional speaker with more than 1,000 presentations to his name and was selected as the best speaker in the 50-year history of Kansas City’s prestigious Plaza Club.
