As a speaker, Michael is evaluated as energetic, authentic, refreshing but above all as someone who can activate people. In his sessions, he gives the audience tools to change their habits and behavior and to see that fitness underlies it. He does this by telling a powerful story with few slides but surprisingly simple insights, reflections and tools that anyone can use.

One of his oft-used sayings; 'that what you do, you become good at' encompasses the core of an inspiration session. If you whine and complain a lot, that's what you get good at! But if you learn to deal with fear, disappointment and setbacks, you will develop willpower and perseverance. It's paradoxical but “just doing” is one of the big keys to real change. The trick is just to start (small).
