Interview with Nathalie Nahai

Web psychologist Nathalie Nahai gives insights into her life as a professional speaker and tells about her work. Learn more about Nathalie Nahai in the interview below.

How did you become a futurist?

I’m not a futurist in the classical sense (someone who makes predictions about future trends and concepts), rather, I look at patterns in behaviour based on empirical research and suggest how these might influence technology and the world that we are creating together.

Who or what inspires you most?

The richness, beauty and diversity of human relationships… And how, no matter what the technology available, we always seem to seek new ways of expressing ourselves, discovering new ways of relating, and forging connections we never thought possible.

How is your term ‘Web Psychology’ relevant in the 21st century?

For most of us, the internet has become an inescapable aspect of living in the 21st century. As such, the way in which we interact with (and are influenced by) our technology has a huge impact on our sense of self, our relationships, and our quality of life. Psychology is the study of the human condition, and as we become ever more connected, web psychology will become one of the primary tools with which we can understand and empower ourselves to lead more deliberate, fulfilling lives.

Why should clients use you for their next event?

I’m a very excitable, playful speaker, and I love sparring with smart audiences. If you want a full-throttle, no-holds barred romp through the hidden world of web psychology, I’m your speaker.

What results can clients expect from your keynotes?

Drawing on cutting-edge research from the fields of psychology, behavioural economics and much, much more, clients can expect an exciting, fast-paced and actionable adventure into the secret strategies that make us click.
