Aarin Michele Williams, Esq. is a nationally recognized civil rights lawyer, social impact expert, and keynote speaker with more than 20 years of experience advancing justice and leadership across sectors. Aarin made history in 2019 as the first Black woman lawyer featured on CNN’s Emmy-winning United Shades of America, where she tackled reproductive rights and the criminalization of pregnancy. Over her career, she has delivered 100 keynotes, trainings, and panels nationwide, training thousands of leaders, lawyers, and professionals to lead inclusively, engage in difficult conversations, and build resilient organizations.
Her impact spans courtrooms, classrooms, and boardrooms: she has tried two dozen jury trials, led 200+ investigations, spearheaded a landmark $20 million redlining settlement, secured thousands in funding for a social justice organization, and championed legislative advocacy leading to the introduction or overhaul of 50+ civil rights bills.
As a strategist and consultant, she has also increased workforce engagement by more than 50% through innovative structural reforms and designed leadership programs now used by government agencies and civic organizations.
