There are few experts within the DEI space that I respect, value, and trust. Abi is one of them. At Spotify, I was Abi's client, inviting her to facilitate a group discussion on racism for one of our global teams. She led us through an interactive, insightful, incredible conversation about racism, systemic oppression, and allyship. This was the first time for some to understand how vital it is for white, non-Black communities of color, everyone, to step up and do the work of anti-racism. Her facilitation style is warm, direct, charismatic, and effective. She's an expert at storytelling and facilitating large groups who may not be comfortable talking about the elephant in the room. And she's great at saying it louder for the folks in the back. These are the necessary and uncomfortable conversations that every company and every team should be having, every single day. If you are thinking about how to bring diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging to the forefront of your leadership team or organisation, speak to Abi. Her passion for justice is remarkable, and I wholeheartedly recommend her.

Through my line of work, I’ve encountered many brilliant people, but Abi is one of the most exceptional I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Alongside her impressive grasp of change-making, action-orientated DEI (particularly in relation to Anti-Racism), she has an indelible way of provoking thoughtful reflection on every topic she discusses. Having co-facilitated with her on many occasions, I’ve observed Abi’s natural storytelling ability which brings authenticity, perspective, and energy to complex topics that many people are typically wary of - and uncomfortable with. Abi’s warm and charismatic communication style dovetails with her insightful and non-judgemental capacity to engage, influence and build trust. It’s remarkable to watch. There’s also a humility and a generosity to Abi that means learning together has been such a positive experience. I know that when it comes to looking for partners and peers in the DEI space to collaborate with, Abi is the first person that springs to mind. I look forward to continuing to partner with Abi on driving meaningful and impactful change in the work we do.
