As the acclaimed author of Better Boys, Better Men: The New Masculinity That Creates Greater Courage and Emotional Resiliency (HarperOne) and the forthcoming Boys Re-Connected: The Growing Epidemic of Alienation and How To Stop It (Johns Hopkins University Press), Reiner explores how outdated and restrictive gender expectations continue to undermine male emotional health, psychological safety, and overall engagement in the workplace.

Reiner has appeared on CNN’s Amanpour, PBS NewsHour, CNBC, and international media including Australia’s Today Show and CBC’s Tapestry, where his thought leadership has helped shape the public discourse on healthy masculinity and connection.

In his keynotes, Reiner offers practical frameworks and transformative strategies for dismantling toxic norms, building inclusive leadership cultures, and fostering emotionally intelligent, courageous male leaders. His presentations are particularly powerful for organizations committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), enhancing mental wellness, and creating spaces where men can lead authentically—without sacrificing empathy or emotional depth.

Andrew helped me develop and organize a Father's Day event at our congregation in which Andrew spoke about healthy masculinity. The attendance (both in-person and live-streamed) exceeded my expectations and led to a highly engaged Q&A session, as well as conversations with Andrew that lasted well into the reception.

One of our key achievements in a very busy and momentous Sesquicentenary year was Andrew’s visit. As well as being the inaugural Max Lawton Visiting Fellow, his time with us stimulated a great deal of very healthy discussion and at times debate. His “Executive Summary” paper is guiding us in a number of areas, specifically in mapping our way forward in promoting positive masculine identity

Andrew ran a group workshop and discussion with staff who have been working on a year-long project, looking at how we educate boys to become men of character. As we struggled with ideas and issues around masculinity, Andrew’s experience, research and intellect helped us focus upon the core values of our school, what they should look like in the lives of young men and ways to develop these core values both in and out of the classroom.
