His work empowers organizations to act with purpose and deliver measurable results.
Arnaud Blandin is a strategist, advisor and thought leader helping organizations integrate sustainability, artificial intelligence and impact into the way they create and manage value. With more than two decades of international experience across technology, finance, innovation and sustainability, he works with executive teams, boards and investors seeking practical approaches to long-term transformation.
His work focuses on one of the most important challenges facing organizations today: connecting sustainability, technology, financial performance and governance into a single operating model. While many companies have invested heavily in ESG reporting, sustainability programs and AI initiatives, these efforts often remain disconnected from strategic decision-making and capital allocation. Arnaud helps leaders close this gap by building systems that connect data, impact, risk and performance into actionable business intelligence.
Organizations that work with Arnaud gain a clearer understanding of where value is created, where risks are emerging and how resources can be deployed to support both financial performance and long-term resilience.
Arnaud's career began in Silicon Valley, where he worked as an engineer contributing to Java language standards and developing enterprise systems for organizations including NASA. This technical foundation remains central to his work today, giving him a practical understanding of how software, data and artificial intelligence function within complex organizations.
Following his engineering career, he expanded into leadership and business development roles, scaling technology and intelligence businesses across Asia, Europe and North America. This combination of technical expertise and commercial experience enables him to bridge conversations between technology teams, executives, investors and boards.
His ability to connect engineering realities with strategic objectives allows organizations to move beyond theoretical transformation plans and focus on practical implementation.
Between 2019 and 2024, Arnaud founded and led the Beyond Institute, a global initiative focused on understanding the systemic challenges preventing organizations from responding effectively to environmental and social transitions.
Working alongside investors, corporations, entrepreneurs, academics and policymakers, he developed frameworks designed to identify, measure and prioritize the real-world impacts generated by economic activity. Through this work, he explored the tensions, contradictions and structural barriers that often prevent organizations from aligning business performance with societal and environmental outcomes.
These experiences shaped his conviction that the future of business will depend on the ability to manage financial results, environmental boundaries, technological change and human development as interconnected elements of the same system.
Today, he continues this mission as founder of the Institute for Responsible Innovation and Sustainability (IRIS), supporting organizations seeking to innovate responsibly while creating measurable value.
A central focus of Arnaud’s work is helping organizations harness artificial intelligence as a strategic capability rather than a standalone technology initiative.
His advisory engagements typically include:
By connecting AI, sustainability and financial performance, Arnaud helps organizations build stronger decision architectures capable of navigating uncertainty and accelerating change.
His project experience spans multiple sectors, including circular economy initiatives in the tire industry, impact and intelligence platforms for energy companies, sustainability and AI strategies for aquaculture businesses, and transformation programs for multinational corporations, financial institutions, private equity firms and entrepreneurial ventures.
Alongside his advisory work, Arnaud is deeply involved in executive education and leadership development. He teaches and mentors more than 500 executives each year through leading institutions and executive programs, including INSEAD, Singapore Management University, SKEMA, EDHEC, IUM and other international learning platforms.
He also serves as Program Director of CEDEP’s Sustainable Value Creation program, where executives and decision-makers come together to develop practical action plans that support sustainable business transformation.
His commitment to innovation extends to entrepreneurship, where he mentors founders through initiatives such as Creative Destruction Lab and the Monaco Ocean Protection Challenge. Through these programs, he supports entrepreneurs building companies that combine business success with measurable positive impact.
