A visionary voice for a changing world

Märtha Rehnberg is known for her ability to turn complex technological and economic shifts into clear, empowering perspectives. Her work is rooted in the belief that visions for the future influence behaviour in the present. When dreams are ambitious and communicated wisely, they attract talent, capital and momentum and eventually materialize. This performative power of future visions is at the heart of her talks, workshops and advisory engagements.
As a political economist, technologist and futurist, she connects technological progress with societal responsibility, helping leaders rethink what innovation should aim for and how to steer it toward meaningful impact.

Strategic advisor to industries and policymakers

Märtha is Co-Founder of DareDisrupt, a think tank specializing in responsible disruption and exponential technologies. Here, she supports Fortune 500 companies worldwide, especially those in heavy-asset industries, where technological shifts often meet structural complexity. Her advisory work focuses on disruption, foresight and the long-term strategies needed to navigate periods of high uncertainty.
Her influence reaches well beyond corporate boardrooms. As a policy advisor, Märtha has contributed directly to major EU initiatives including the Industrial Strategy, the Green Deal and the Taxonomy on Sustainable Finance. Most recently, she collaborates with the EU Commission’s Joint Research Council, working with Science4Policy to strengthen the bridge between research, technology and decision-making.

A global speaker shaping conversations about the future

Märtha has delivered more than 400 talks in 20 countries, covering themes such as technological intuition, responsible disruption, radical climate innovation, future economics and what it means to remain human in an age of accelerating technology. Her engaging style combines deep intellectual grounding with a clear sense of urgency and possibility.
She has been acknowledged repeatedly as an original agenda-setter. The St Gallen Symposium selected her as a “Leader of Tomorrow” for three consecutive years, and she has been profiled as a “FemTech Leader” by Innotribe, the Carlisle & Gallagher Consulting Group and the Digital Finance Institute. Her thought leadership continues to shape conversations at the intersection of industry, technology and policy.

Experience that drives transformation

Before founding DareDisrupt, Märtha served as an intrapreneur at Maersk, where she spearheaded the industry-wide introduction of 3D printing. Her ambition to localize sustainable production led to her appointment as special advisor to a nationwide 50M DKK Additive Manufacturing hub in Denmark, where she authored the original vision for the initiative.
Her expertise in global value chains and new technology is documented in her published scholarly work, which contributes to a growing understanding of how industries evolve in response to emerging technologies and geopolitical shifts.

Shaping the future of European and global industry

Her strategic insight has earned her invitations to influential policymaking groups. In 2018, she joined the European Commission’s High Level Industrial Roundtable “Industry 2030” to co-author a bold strategy for the future of European industries. In 2019, the Danish Government appointed her to Denmark’s Green Growth Team, where she helped rethink the country’s global positioning within green energy and environmental technologies.
Through these roles, she brings together industry knowledge, technological understanding and economic reasoning to guide long-term choices that shape competitiveness and sustainability.

A global background and multilingual communicator

Märtha holds a double degree from Copenhagen Business School and Esade. Born in Spain, raised in Paris and living in Denmark, she works fluently in English, Danish, Swedish and French. Her international background enriches her ability to connect with diverse audiences and translate global trends into practical insight.
