About Alcohol Abuse

  • In most countries alcohol and tobacco is considered legal while drugs of different kinds may not be – however, these are typically not too hard to obtain. And there is of course a risk of abuse.
  • What are the signs of someone in the danger zone? Are there certain symptoms and indeed signs worth looking for?
  • Keynote speakers talking about abuse will probably often address matters relating to alcoholism – alcoholism, sadly, is quite widespread after all. Drug abuse is another common topic as well.
  • Although alcohol and drugs remain the best known villains when talking substance abuse there might also be other and related problems such as ludomania, sex addiction, sugar addiction or, for that matter, internet addiction.
