Earlier this year I asked Becky to be my featured speaker at a monthly employee town hall for 130 IT Professionals. Because the topic was "DARE" for women, I asked my employees to bring their daughters and spouses to the meeting. Becky was a HUGE hit!! My audience had more men than women, but everyone was enthralled with her lively presentation on taking charge of your career. As I announced when I introduced her, the advice in "Dare" applies just as much to men as it does to women. Becky is a natural people-person; she exudes warmth, charm, and humor which makes her an engaging speaker with a mix of personal stories, research studies, and real life examples. Our survey of attendees was very positive, noting that Becky's message resonated with a wide age range of both men and women (and daughters). I purchased a copy of "DARE" for all the attendees and Becky was gracious enough to stay after our meeting and autograph each book. To this day I still have female employees reference her presentation and/or book during performance reviews.
