Book Ben Keene for your event

Ben Keene is an impact entrepreneur, keynote speaker and tribe builder with 20 years of experience bringing people together to build ideas, businesses and communities that matter. His work sits at the intersection of entrepreneurship, AI, human connection, social innovation and community building, giving audiences a practical perspective on how to move forward when the world around them is changing quickly.

At the heart of Ben’s work is a simple idea: people can achieve remarkable things when they come together around something they genuinely care about. He helps purpose-driven teams, founders, leaders and young people understand how to create that momentum, navigate uncertainty and translate ideas into meaningful action.

His experience has taken him from building startups and communities to working with businesses, corporate teams and leaders around the world. From the CIA in Las Vegas to a mosque in Myanmar and global event stages, Ben has encountered radically different environments, people and challenges. Those experiences give his keynotes a rich collection of stories alongside lessons audiences can apply to their own work.

Twenty years of building

Ben is best known as the co-founder of Tribewanted, an award-winning social enterprise that began on a Fijian island 20 years ago. The experience placed community, entrepreneurship and social impact at the centre of his career and gave him firsthand insight into what it takes to turn an ambitious idea into something people want to join and build together.

Since then, Ben has continued to explore how businesses and communities can be designed with purpose and connection in their DNA. His experience spans startup skills, social innovation and community building, enabling him to speak about entrepreneurship as something deeply human: bringing people together, testing ideas, responding to change and creating something valuable for the long term.

Rather than presenting entrepreneurship as a collection of abstract theories, Ben draws on the reality of building. His stories explore the challenges, lessons and opportunities that emerge when an idea meets the real world. This makes his perspective relevant for established corporate teams and leaders as well as founders, entrepreneurs and young people preparing to create their own paths.

AI meets the human economy

Today, Ben works across what he describes as two sides of a major shift. Good with AI is his human-led AI training company and represents his work within the emerging AI economy. Rebel Book Club represents another essential part of the future: the human economy.

Rebel Book Club is an 11-year-old non-fiction learning community operating across a dozen cities. It brings people together around ideas, learning and conversation, reflecting Ben’s longstanding interest in how communities help people grow, connect and make things happen.

This combination gives Ben a distinctive perspective on the changes organisations and individuals are experiencing. As AI transforms the way people learn, create and work, the ability to use new technology matters. So do the deeply human abilities to connect, collaborate, learn together and build communities around shared ambitions.

Ben helps audiences explore this changing landscape without losing sight of the people inside it. His approach to AI is grounded in practical use and human involvement, while his experience as a community builder demonstrates why relationships and collective energy remain essential.

Entrepreneurship for the next generation

From September 2026, Ben becomes Director of Entrepreneurship at Sherborne Schools Group, where he will help shape how the next generation learns to build.

This next chapter connects naturally with two decades spent creating businesses, communities and social ventures. It also brings Ben’s experience directly into conversations about how young people can approach entrepreneurship, technology and change with greater confidence.

For young audiences, educators and organisations thinking about future skills, Ben offers an entrepreneurial perspective grounded in action. Building something requires curiosity, experimentation, collaboration and the willingness to move through uncertainty. These are increasingly valuable skills whether someone plans to become a founder, join an established organisation or create change within their community.

What audiences gain

A keynote or workshop with Ben Keene can help audiences:

  • Navigate uncertainty and change with a more entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Understand the relationship between AI, people and human connection.
  • Build stronger communities and collaboration around shared goals.
  • Turn ideas and purpose into practical action.
  • Learn from real experiences across startups, social innovation and community building.
  • Think about how businesses and communities can be built for the long term.

Ben’s style is engaging, optimistic and practical. His aim is to create the kind of energy that continues after the session has finished, giving audiences useful ideas and tools they can take into their teams, businesses and communities.

Build what matters

Across Ben Keene’s work runs a consistent motivation: connecting with people who want to make the world better through what they do and helping build businesses and communities that have that ambition in their DNA.

That perspective has been shaped through 20 years on the frontline of startups, entrepreneurship, social enterprise, AI and human connection. It allows Ben to move naturally between conversations about technology and conversations about community, while keeping the focus on what people can actually build together.

Book Ben Keene for your event to give teams, founders, leaders or young people an energetic and practical exploration of entrepreneurship, AI, community and change. Audiences leave with fresh perspectives, memorable stories and useful tools for coming together, navigating uncertainty and building what matters to them and the world.
