About Geffrye Parsons
Geffrye Parsons is a highly respected keynote speaker and inclusion expert with over three decades of global executive experience. Having spent 35 years as a gay, client-facing leader across financial and professional services organisations worldwide, he brings a perspective grounded in reality, shaped by both personal and professional journeys spanning from the 1980s through to today.
His career enables him to draw meaningful lessons from changing workplace cultures over time, offering audiences a rare combination of historical insight and forward-looking thinking. Geff’s approach is practical and business-focused, ensuring that inclusion is not treated as a standalone initiative, but as a strategic driver aligned with organisational priorities.
From Experience to Impact
Geff is known for translating complex inclusion topics into clear, actionable strategies. His sessions explore how minority characteristics, including being LGBTQ+, intersect with critical workplace themes such as psychological safety, inclusive leadership, allyship, unconscious bias, teamwork, wellbeing and imposter syndrome.
Rather than staying at a theoretical level, Geff connects these ideas directly to leadership behaviour and organisational performance. He demonstrates how inclusive environments unlock the full value of diversity—whether demographic, personality-based or shaped by life experience, leading to stronger, more resilient teams.
Audiences leave with a deeper understanding of how inclusion can actively contribute to better decision-making, higher engagement and sustainable business success.
Recognised Leadership and Achievements
Geff’s work and influence have been widely recognised across both LGBTQ+ and business communities. His accolades include:
- Inspirational Leader of the Year at the British LGBT Awards (2019)
- Inclusion in the Pride Power List of the UK’s 100 most influential LGBTQ+ people (ranked twice)
- Recognition in INvolve’s Top 100 LGBTQ+ business executives globally (ranked three times)
He has also played a pivotal role in transforming workplace inclusion standards. As Chair of Macquarie Group’s Pride ERG, he helped the organisation achieve the #1 position in Stonewall’s UK workplace rankings in 2022. He later supported Linklaters, as an external consultant, in reaching the same top ranking in 2024.
In addition, Geff has been named a ‘Top Voice’ on LinkedIn across Leadership, Culture Change and Executive Management, reflecting his influence and thought leadership in these areas. He holds an MBA in International Management from the University of London.
Advisory Roles and Broader Influence
Alongside his speaking and consultancy work, Geff leads The Inclusion Imperative, a boutique consultancy focused on culture transformation and leadership development, with a particular emphasis on LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace.
He also holds several Board-level and advisory roles across organisations working to advance inclusion and equality. These include:
- Trustee of Open for Business, promoting the economic value of inclusion
- Trustee of GiveOut, supporting global 2SLGBTQIA+ causes
- Board Advisor to Voda, a mental health and wellbeing app for the LGBTQ+ community
- Board member of Pride in Tennis, driving inclusion across the sport in the UK
