Resilience, stress and human performance expert turning science into practical strategies for lasting change

Jenny Evans is an inspirational speaker, author and organizational consultant specializing in resilience, stress, confidence and human performance. She helps people perform at their best without sacrificing their health in the process. As founder and CEO of PowerHouse Performance and author of the award-winning The Resiliency rEvolution, Jenny translates insights about stress and performance into practical strategies audiences can use immediately. She has worked with thousands of C-suite executives, leaders and employees worldwide, helping them build confidence, manage stress and recover more effectively under pressure.

Meet Jenny Evans

Jenny Evans has built both her career and her life around a fascination with human performance. Driven by confidence, creativity, stubbornness and what she describes as a useful amount of naïveté, she has followed her passion for understanding what helps people reach their potential and turned that passion into a career helping others do the same.

Today, Jenny is an inspirational speaker, author and organizational consultant focused on resilience, stress, confidence and human performance. She is the founder and CEO of PowerHouse Performance, where her work centers on a challenge familiar to organizations everywhere: how can people continue to perform at a high level when demands, pressure and stress keep increasing?

Jenny brings practical answers to that question. Her work helps audiences tap into their personal power and confidence, expand their capacity for stress and learn how to recover from it more quickly and effectively. The result is an approach to performance that connects productivity with health rather than treating the two as competing priorities.

Resilience that works in real life

Jenny’s expertise is grounded in the relationship between the mind, body, stress and performance. Rather than treating resilience as an abstract idea, she gives people strategies they can understand and apply in demanding everyday situations.

She is the author of the award-winning book The Resiliency rEvolution: Your Stress Solution for Life – 60 Seconds at a Time. Its focus reflects a central theme in Jenny’s work: meaningful improvements in resilience do not always require sweeping changes. Small, practical actions can help people respond differently to pressure and improve the way they function when demands are high.

Her work helps audiences:

  • Increase their capacity for stress and pressure
  • Recover from stressful situations more quickly and effectively
  • Tap into greater personal power and confidence
  • Improve performance and productivity
  • Support their health while pursuing demanding goals
  • Develop practical approaches to sustainable human performance

For organizations, these insights offer a way to address performance from a human perspective. Jenny understands that employees and leaders cannot simply eliminate pressure from their professional lives. Instead, they can become better equipped to deal with it.

From science to performance

Jenny brings an extensive background in health, exercise and human behavior to her work. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She has also been an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor for more than 20 years and is a certified Exercise Nutritionist.

This combination of kinesiology, psychology, exercise and nutrition gives Jenny a broad perspective on what influences human performance. Her presentations connect this knowledge with the realities facing executives, leaders and employees, making complex ideas relevant to people working in fast-moving and demanding environments.

Jenny has worked with thousands of C-suite executives, leaders and employees worldwide. Her corporate client list includes Yale School of Management, Ameriprise Financial, U.S. Bank, AT&T, Estée Lauder Companies, Comcast, Nationwide, Procter & Gamble and Target, alongside many other Fortune 500 companies.

A recognized voice on resilience

Jenny Evans has shared her ideas on the TEDx stage and has established herself as a trusted voice on resilience and performance across a range of media and educational platforms.

She is the resilience subject matter expert for Optum and The Big Know’s digital courses and has written as a blogger for The Huffington Post. Jenny also spent more than four years as an NBC Health & Fitness expert.

Her expertise has been quoted on National Public Radio and featured in publications including Health Magazine and Women’s Health. Her work has also been showcased by FastCompany.com, Inc.com, Entrepreneur.com, Shape.com and Elle.com.

These experiences have given Jenny the ability to communicate performance and resilience concepts to audiences with very different backgrounds. Whether she is addressing senior executives, leaders or employees, her focus remains on making the science useful, memorable and relevant to the pressures people actually face.

Book Jenny Evans for your event

Booking speaker Jenny Evans gives audiences an opportunity to rethink their relationship with stress, resilience and performance. Her combination of expertise in kinesiology, psychology, exercise, nutrition and organizational consulting allows her to approach these challenges from several angles while keeping the message practical.

Keynote by Jenny Evans:

It’s Not What You Think: The neuroscience of change

hange resilience isn't a communication problem. It's a chemistry problem. And most change integration strategies have been solving for the wrong one.

With It's Not What You Think, Jenny delivers an important shift in understanding for your leaders:it's not what you think, it's how you react.

Your people aren't resisting the change - their biology is reacting to it, exactly as it's built to, and it's costing you every time you ignore it.

Packed with practical, science-backed tools your leaders can use in a single meeting, a 1:1, or a hallway conversation, this keynote takes your leaders from mistaking overload for resistance to actually moving people through change.

YOUR LEADERS WILL LEARN:

  • How and why change affects decision-making, focus, and performance - and why that's biology, not character
  • Why their communication keeps missing its mark, no matter how well it's written
  • How stress spreads through a team faster than any announcement can
  •  Why organizations run out of change capacity long before they run out of initiatives
  • What has to happen biologically before rational communication - the FAQ, the town hall, the well-crafted memo - can actually be absorbed
  • A four-part practice, deployable in a single meeting, a 1:1, or a hallway conversation that will help their people adapt to change

PLANNER ROI:
Your leaders don't just understand why change is hard - they leave with a repeatable practice they can apply to every future initiative. This means faster adoption, lower attrition risk, and a leadership team that stops mistaking overload for resistance.
