Following two years of research, Julie and Cofounder Nicole launched Eloments – the world’s first 100% natural vitamin tea. Eloments was an overnight success years in the making, securing shelf space in 2000 stores around the world, raising Series A investment as part of the only 2.7% of VC funding that went to female founders in 2019, and most importantly, providing tea lovers with organic certified vitamins and minerals in every cuppa.
Julie’s background in the NGO sector led her to recognize that businesses, particularly startups, have the opportunity to create an impact with every decision they make. She began her career opening and running a voter registration office at the age of 22 before becoming deeply involved in climate change action and working her way to Deputy Director of the Australian Youth Climate Coalition. Julie currently volunteers as the AYCC’s Board Secretary.
