Very few people dare to simply visit every country in the world, let alone find the time to do it. Those who actually do, take years, or a life time. On November 10, 2019, however, Nick Butter earned the title as the first and only person so far to run a full marathon distance in every country in the world, and he did this in just 23 months.
He along with his bag travelled alone for 674 days, running two or three marathons in two or three countries, every week, for no less than 96 weeks – a world record. This impressive feat of a world record came after more than 44,000 km. of previous crazy expeditions, years of hard training and determination plus plenty of set-backs. And he does not feel ready to stop yet.
Nick Butter is also a keynote speaker. Although he is an athlete his talks are not exclusively focused on just running. In fact his true passion is all about igniting a spark of adventure and to generate energy, a will to be set free in all that we do. Life is short, precious and Nick Butter will use his words to highlight the path to use your time with intent.
