Keynote by Saera Khan:

DISC – When four colors explain more than a thousand words

Communication, collaboration, and manipulation techniques – Which color are you?

How can we create better collaboration and resolve conflicts before they escalate?
With the DISC model, the different communication and behavior styles in a team become visible – and it shows how they can complement each other. Saera demonstrates how differences can become a resource, rather than a source of frustration and misunderstanding.

The DISC model describes four basic communication and behavioral styles:

  • Red (goal-oriented and direct)
  • Yellow (engaged and relational)
  • Green (supportive and stable)
  • Blue (analytical and precise)

Through concrete examples and tailored exercises, participants learn to:

  • Understand why Reds can be perceived as demanding, Yellows as superficial, Greens as passive, and Blues as critical or pessimistic.
  • Recognize their own and others’ patterns in communication – using practical models for personality analysis.
  • Apply tools to prevent conflicts and break destructive patterns.
  • Identify and handle manipulation techniques clearly and professionally.

The result: a workplace with greater understanding, more effective collaboration, and less strain from conflicts.

The Enneagram – Nine personalities, nine driving forces: Motivation, conflict, & power

The Enneagram provides a deeper understanding of what motivates us – and what creates friction in collaboration. The nine personality types – The Perfectionist, The Helper, The Achiever, The Individualist, The Thinker/Observer, The Skeptic, The Adventurer, The Challenger, and The Peacemaker – describe the strategies people use to face life and work.

While DISC shows behavior, the Enneagram goes deeper into motivation, inner fears and drivers, stress reactions, and relationship patterns.

Through lectures and workshops, Saera helps participants to:

  • Become better at reading people – and seeing beyond the surface.
  • Discover personal strengths and weaknesses, blind spots and triggers when facing stress and conflict.
  • Build bridges between different types and create trust.
  • Understand why some do everything to avoid conflict, while others walk straight into it.
  • Recognize how manipulation techniques affect people differently – and how to meet them with awareness and strength.
  • Identify your “shadow side” and develop greater self-awareness.
  • Gain tools and models for personality analysis and recognition.
  • Explore what happens when different driving forces collide in a project – and how to turn that into a strength.

With the Enneagram, teams gain both increased self-awareness and greater respect for differences – creating space for a more resilient and growth-oriented work environment.

Different Generations – A Source of Conflict or Profitable Innovation?

Twenty years ago, workplaces typically consisted of only two generations. Today, it’s common to have four generations working side by side, making "generational leadership" more relevant than ever. But what demands does this place on workplace culture, motivation, and leadership? Recent research from Harvard, Stanford, and Oxford sheds light on the behavioral differences, value perceptions, and consumer patterns across generations.

  • Why do Millennials perceive Baby Boomers' leadership philosophy as undemocratic and somewhat authoritarian?
  • What makes leading Generation Z feel like an extreme sport?
  • How can we collaborate more effectively across different communication styles?
  • What can companies and organizations do to integrate generational knowledge into HR management and talent development?
  • Is generational leadership essential for employer branding to ensure an attractive workplace?
  • How do we address power dynamics when generational affiliations are used as a basis for domination techniques?
