What makes connections so important?

Do you know what the best sales professionals, the most creative marketers and the most powerful leaders have in common?

They all have an incredible ability to connect.  Whether in business or in life, the connections you make are essential toward thriving in everything you do.

Without making strong, powerful connections – leaders cannot bring their teams together, marketers cannot communicate their message and sales teams cannot close.


What leadership qualities do you most admire and why? 

Those that embody the “muscles” of what I call the “Connecting Core” … a.k.a. the S.A.F.E.

  • Super WHY – Living and breathing one’s purpose on this planet each and every day.
  • Authenticity – Being open, honest and coming from the ‘heart’
  • Fearless Mindset – Moving through fear and into courage
  • Empathy – Standing in the shoes of another and embracing their ‘world’  

Leaders that work on these qualities every day are what I call “Master Connectors”.  These are the traits of those that truly thrive loud!


Which of your achievements are you most proud of?

Living my Super Why every day:  Helping top performers and companies thrive through the power of connecting.


How are your keynote presentations unique?

My keynotes embrace what “Connecting” is all about.  Through words, action, technology, humor and interactivity – audiences all experience a “workout” during my keynote addresses.  They identify, uncover and flex the Connecting Core muscles in each presentation I deliver.


How much does humor factor into your keynotes and other speaking engagements?

Humor is one of the more fun parts of ‘connecting’.  I have always had the ability to make others laugh and not take things ‘too seriously’.  This light-hearted way of being is injected into my keynotes through funny stories, audience participation and a dose of self-deprecation.  Yet it always is rooted in an important lesson that audiences can use to grow and prosper.

When you’re smiling and laughing…you are thriving.


What would be your ideal event to speak at?

The best part about my “Connecting” platform of keynotes is that it carries across industries and business functions.  Leadership, sales, business development and marketing audiences all value my keynotes in EVERY industry.
