Great public speakers know how to tell a story and use humour. You don't need to be a comedian to have impact and Jaz has got it all going on! Her style (in her own words) is to 'make 'em laugh, cry and leave on a high'. This is also the basis for a great Edinburgh Fringe show or a Netflix Special - both of which I fully expect Jaz to do at some point in the not so distant future! I first encountered Jaz at one of my Stand Up to Stand Out workshops and she went on to enter the Funny Women Awards and reached the semi-finals.

I don't write recommendations. But here I was compelled. Give someone a slot to present in a conference just before lunch time and good luck - I'm going to be flagging as my body is thinking of food. However, not when Jaz was presenting. I've heard many speeches, but this was easily the most inspirational, intriguing, hard-hitting and engaging I've ever heard. I was locked in completely. I thoroughly recommend Jaz as a speaker, not just here but I do in person frequently. Thank you for giving us the benefit of your passion and doing the incredible job of reminding us that the world is both impossibly hard and impossibly wonderful.

I've worked in media and events for more than 20 years, but rarely do I see a keynote speaker receive a standing ovation, which is what happened when I asked Jaz to speak at a school event and a few weeks later open our Festival of Media Global conference in Rome.
