About Tamika
Keynote
Speaker Tamika Mallory is the daughter of two social activists and founding members of the National Action Network, and growing up she helped her parents fight for justice and rights by handing out flyers or singing at events. In her teenage years, she rebelled against it all and needed time to find her own role and activism goals. Today, Tamika is a leading activist and has been called “a leader of tomorrow” by Valerie Jarrett, senior advisor to former President Barack Obama.
Tamika was the co-chair of the Women’s March in 2017. The march turned worldwide and although it was originally planned to protest against the inauguration of President Donald Trump, it became a voice and place for protesting against all social issues regarding race, sexuality, gender and class in the United States – and the rest of the world. Tamika’s power and courage is what makes her so incredibly inspiring. She is a leader of our future and was on the Fortune’s 2017 list of the World’s Greatest Leaders as well as the 2017 Time 100 Pioneers.
As a speaker Tamika Mallory is inspirational and engaging. Her passion for civil rights and equality shines through and motivates her audience to make a change and realize that we can do something about today’s social issues.
