Dr. Tracey Gendron gave an insightful, well-delivered and well-received presentation about the many effects of ageism during a visit to Rochester, New York. The evening provided an overview of her book, Aging Unmasked with audience-surprising facts, including that people with positive attitudes toward aging live on average seven and a half years longer than those with negative attitudes! Not many of us have thought about our own participation in ageism – from giving those ageist birthday cards to self- loathing of being “that age.” Dr. Gendron left the audience with the feeling that it is okay to be “that age” and to say it aloud. We highly recommend Dr. Gendron if your organization is ready to take on ageism.

Dr. Gendron delivered a talk for a diversity and inclusion event for my team at Microsoft. She covered topics relating to age bias in a way that was engaging and relatable to employees regardless of their age or career stage. Tracey answered the team’s questions and led a really fun discussion. I’d highly recommend her as an expert on age diversity and a wonderful and gracious guest speaker.

Dr. Gendron was the opening Keynote speaker at our 2023 Art & Science of Aging Conference. Her presentation was all I had hoped for and more - content, clarity, and timing. Everyone who attended said the same thing...it was such a great start for the day.

I had the great pleasure of working with Dr. Gendron during a Scientific Advisory Board meeting focusing on ageism, how to identify it and, above all, how to weed it out of our habitual processes and ways of working. Dr. Gendron was a consummate speaker—her mastery of the subject was, of course, evident but her thoughtful examination and consideration of our questions and challenges was much appreciated and impactful. She was able to step into our world of beauty and to deliver do-able recommendations and guidance. Above all, Dr. Gendron’s sincerity and clear commitment to changing the world for the better are incredibly inspiring—she makes her listeners also want to up their game—to also be part of the solution rather than the problem. I would most certainly recommend Dr. Gendron and hope that I myself will work with her again in the future!
