About the topic: Cancer Survival

Cancer is not just one disease but many diseases. There are more than 100 different types of cancer and most cancers are named after the organ or cell in which they start. Untreated cancers can cause serious illness and death.

About half of all men and one-third of all women in the US will develop cancer during their lifetimes. Today, millions of people across the globe are living with cancer or have had cancer. But survival rates are improving for many types of cancer, thanks to improvements in cancer screening and cancer treatment.

Our keynote speakers are have all had experiences with cancer. Whether they are cancer survivors or have family members that have fought the battle against cancer – they all have personal experiences with the life-threatening disease. Therefore the keynotes are both motivating and inspirational and will inspire attendees to never give up on life’s challenges.
