Book Jack Becker for Your Event
Organizations book Jack for his ability to translate the precision, discipline, and communication skills required to fly and land supersonic fighter jets into strategies that fit any workplace. During his service as a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter pilot, instructor pilot, landing signal officer, quality assurance officer, and crew resource management instructor, he learned how teams succeed when the stakes are high and mistakes are unforgiving. With more than 2,500 hours in supersonic fighters and 10,000 hours guiding Naval aircraft safely back onto a moving carrier deck, Jack understands performance under pressure in a way few speakers can match.
His decorated combat career includes numerous high-profile missions in the Middle East. These experiences sharpened his focus on teamwork, accountability, and preparation. As one of the Navy’s most highly decorated Landing Signal Officers, he played a central role in integrating CRM process improvement models into flight operations, helping pilots accelerate their learning curve while landing advanced aircraft on nuclear-powered carriers. Over the course of his career, he was responsible for more than 21,000 mishap-free carrier landings, an achievement that speaks to precision, structure, and trust.
Leadership, Human Performance & Safety
Jack’s dual experience as both an LSO and the Navy’s top CRM instructor allowed him to refine a system that later became the backbone of his work with civilian organizations: Brief-Execute-Debrief-Perfect. This cycle of preparation, performance, reflection, and refinement is the same system that keeps fighter pilots sharp, and Jack shows teams how to make it a daily habit. From healthcare and manufacturing to construction, sales, and insurance, his keynotes help professionals communicate clearly, adapt quickly, and build cultures that repeat successes while eliminating avoidable errors.
Jack delivers these lessons with passion, storytelling, and the contagious enthusiasm that defined his military career. His audiences gain more than theory, they walk away with a framework they can apply the very next day. Whether he is speaking to frontline employees or senior leaders, his message resonates because it is grounded in lived experience and proven results.
Beyond the Cockpit
Jack earned a BS in Political Science with an emphasis on organizational leadership from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, where he also competed in varsity football and ice hockey. Today he continues to model his commitment to operational excellence as an international wide-body airline Captain and evaluator instructor pilot. His aviation background reinforces his belief in structured communication, disciplined teamwork, and a mindset built on repeating what works and eliminating what doesn’t.
Jack lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia with his wife, their three young daughters, and a famously dopey golden retriever. Whether he is leading his consultancy, flying internationally, or standing on a stage, he brings the same drive for excellence that fueled his years in the cockpit.
