Born in 1989 in Gorinchem, NL, Redo has proven that it is possible to embrace disability and show that personal willpower and ambition can help to overcome it. He soon found that he was passionate about dance, in particular breakdancing and joined a group that has performed all over the world, earning nominations for a number of awards. They work on theatre shows, TV programs and workshops. Redo is also known for working with the authorities in the Netherlands.
Redo is a firm believer that a person can achieve anything if they have the right attitude. He speaks on a variety of disability-related issues, including determination, developing willpower, finding your ambition, dealing with bullying and prejudice and his story in dance.
The motivational speaking offered by Redo is interactive and draws the audience. The speeches are suitable for people of all ages and he even includes a dance performance in each speech. He promotes his own motto ‘No Excuses, No Limits’ to remind the audience that they are the only ones holding themselves back and he is mindful that every audience he speaks to is different, so tailors his speeches to match his audience. He reminds his listeners that they are not alone with their struggles.
