Volker Hirsch has been at the forefront of technology since the 2000s as an entrepreneur, senior executive, advisor, angel investor and VC. He is a partner at Brainworks Ventures, an AI-first, early-stage venture capital fund based in Silicon Valley and the UK. He is also an active angel investor in education, AI, health and big data. He has founded and co-founded a total of 7 companies to date, including an exit to BlackBerry, and he coaches deep-tech startups in the European Commission’s EIC programmes.
