Book Christian Kromme for your event
Christian Kromme starts from a parallel that few have ever explored: technology and biology follow the same developmental patterns. This is not presented as a metaphor or philosophical idea, but as a measurable framework built through more than twenty years of research across evolutionary biology, neuroscience and the history of technology.
His Humanification Model maps seven waves of technological evolution against the development of living systems. What often feels unpredictable about AI becomes easier to understand, anticipate and apply strategically. Leaders leave with a practical framework for making sense of disruption instead of reacting to it.
Christian's perspective offers organisations an entirely new lens for understanding technological transformation. Rather than focusing only on what AI can do, he explores what it means for leadership, innovation, organisations and the uniquely human qualities that will become increasingly valuable.
The story behind the Humanification Model
The foundation of Christian's work comes from a deeply personal experience.
When his daughter received a terminal diagnosis, he watched specialists approach the situation through separate disciplines. Every expert saw part of the problem, but no one saw the complete system. Christian stepped back and looked beyond individual diagnoses and isolated expertise. Instead, he viewed the situation as a living system with its own underlying logic.
The patterns became visible.
The outcome changed.
His daughter recovered.
That experience became the turning point that shaped everything that followed. It strengthened his conviction that understanding systems, patterns and interconnected development leads to different decisions and different outcomes. Today, that same perspective forms the heart of every keynote he delivers.
Audiences experience more than a presentation about AI. They experience a speaker whose ideas are grounded in both rigorous research and profound personal insight.
International keynote speaker on AI & human potential
Christian has delivered keynotes in more than 50 countries and inspired over 500,000 executives around the world.
He has spoken for organisations including Google, Siemens, Philips, Deloitte and TEDx, and serves as Senior AI Research Fellow at The Conference Board.
His bestselling book Humanification – Go Digital, Stay Human reached the number one position on Amazon. His latest book, The Human Spark – Beyond AI (2026), continues the conversation by addressing one of today's defining leadership questions:
What is the human role when machines can think?
Rather than presenting AI as something to fear or simply adopt, Christian helps organisations discover how human creativity, empathy, intuition and purpose become even more valuable as intelligent technologies continue to evolve.
A keynote that changes perspectives
Over the years, Christian's speaking style has evolved alongside his research.
Where earlier presentations focused primarily on frameworks and future trends, today's keynotes are enriched by lived experience, reflection and personal depth. His storytelling moves effortlessly between the microscopic world of living cells and the sweeping evolution of civilisation, making complex ideas feel surprisingly accessible.
Audiences often arrive expecting an informative session about AI. They leave having fundamentally shifted the way they understand change, technology and leadership.
His presentations combine scientific insight, strategic relevance and emotional resonance in a way that creates lasting impact for executives, leadership teams and conference audiences alike.
Christian speaks in English and Dutch. Available formats include:
