From Disney front line to leadership
Dennis Snow’s expertise in customer service was developed through more than 20 years with the Walt Disney World Company. He began his Disney career in 1979 as a front-line attractions operator, giving him first-hand experience of the everyday interactions that shape a customer’s perception of an organization.
As his career progressed, Dennis managed various operating areas throughout the park. These roles gave him the opportunity to learn, apply and refine the skills required to run a world-class, service-driven organization. His experience covered far more than the customer-facing side of service. It also gave him valuable insight into the leadership, culture, employee development and operating practices that make consistently excellent service possible.
In his final year with Walt Disney World, Dennis Snow’s leadership performance was ranked in the top 3% of the company’s leadership team, reflecting the depth of experience he had developed throughout his Disney career.
Creating a culture of service excellence
Dennis Snow also spent several years with the Disney University, where he taught Disney’s corporate philosophy and business practices to cast members and members of the leadership team. During this period, he coordinated the Disney Traditions program, widely recognized as a benchmark in corporate training.
This experience strengthened Dennis’ understanding of the connection between customer experience and employee experience. Exceptional service does not happen by accident. It requires employees to understand what the organization stands for, leaders to reinforce those expectations and systems that support people in delivering the desired experience consistently.
That perspective remains central to Dennis Snow’s work today. His presentations help organizations look beyond isolated customer service techniques and consider how leadership, employee development and organizational culture influence every customer interaction.
Global consulting experience
Dennis launched a division of the Disney Institute responsible for consulting with some of the world’s largest organizations. Clients included ExxonMobil, AT&T, General Motors and Coca Cola. The division quickly became the fastest-growing venture within the Disney Institute and achieved repeat business of nearly 100%.
Through this work, Dennis presented to audiences in locations around the world, including South Africa, Australia, Mexico, England and Argentina. His international experience has given him the opportunity to explore service excellence across different organizations, industries and audiences while maintaining a clear focus on practical principles that can be applied in everyday business.
Today, Dennis works full-time as a speaker, trainer and consultant. His clients have included organizations such as:
