Francis Louise (Lu) Parker is a television journalist, Miss USA winner, and motivational speaker. She began her career as an English literature teacher and later landed a television job with WCSC in South Carolina. San Antonio’s KABB offered Parker a reporter and weekend anchor position. By 2000, the station promoted her to the main anchor. In 2005, she joined KTLA in Los Angeles as co-anchor with Frank Buckley. Parker has attained acting roles and appeared on E! and Larry King Live.
