Mercedes and Anastasia Korngut are two teens on a mission - a mission to spread happiness. As a 16 and 14-year-old duo, they are champions for teen happiness, around the globe. The two are co-founders of Small Bits of Happiness, a successful company. Small Bits of Happiness provides happiness-wellness products and digital tools for individuals of all ages, especially teenagers, to find more happiness daily, build happy habits, and connect parents with their teens and children.
In addition, the sisters are popular writers, with their written works on advice for teens and parents, on the topic of happiness and building connections, being published in Impact Magazine, BC Parent Magazine, Washington Parent Magazine, and the Clark County Courier newspaper. Recently, Mercedes Korngut was interviewed for an article on Senior High Stress, featured in Parent Magazine. This fall, Mercedes signed with Embolden Media Group, an American book agency, gaining literary representation. Alongside her book agent, Mercedes is actively working towards sharing tangible and simple tactics for increasing happiness, with people across the globe, through her book.
The teens impact fellow teens around the world through their podcast, Hack Your Happiness. The sister’s passion for helping local residents has led them to donate over $2000 of product to charities including Alberta Children’s Hospital, Wings of Hope, Parkinson’s Alberta, and Toy Mountain. They volunteer regularly at local elementary schools, sharing advice to pre-teens on building happiness habits and focusing on the small bits of happiness, as they become teenagers.
