About the topic: Social Behaviour

Social behaviour is how we interact in groups and with other people, in other words the way we interact socially, basically.

In most situations we deal with written as well as unwritten social rules, codes of conduct, of how to act. In many cases this knowledge is so deep rooted that we are not even aware of them – until they are broken.

Our social behaviour changes from one situation to the other – typically we will not act the same way during a formal conference at work and a night out with friends. Or think of the differences between a wedding and a funeral.

Keynote speakers on social behaviour look at studies within social behaviour and interaction. How do we act in various situations and why?
