About Climate Change

  • The debate on climate changes is one of the big questions of our time, to such an extent that scientists and politicians argue not only over the causes of climate changes but also, to a certain degree, if the phenomenon even exists at all.
  • Keynote speakers get into the debate – a debate which more often than not can get emotional and heated because climate changes seem to be grounded in human affairs and there is potential for total disaster.
  • How are climate changes defined and when was the question first raised, in science and in public media? How do climate changes happen and when?
  • Last but not least – one question seems to be the most important of them all – can we do something to stop climate changes and if so what and how?
