About the topic: Stress Prevention

We have learned that there is indeed such a thing as stress, but do we really understand how serious stress can be? What can we do in order to prevent stress?

We get stressed when we pressure ourselves too much, physically as well as mentally, take on too many tasks and assignments, or work too hard. Deadlines pile up and while we work on one assignment there are three or four more looming on the horizon.

In the end the body – and sometimes also the mind – will give up. This may result in mood swings, states of depression as well as physical conditions such as headache, sore muscles, stomach aches, increased blood pressure and, in extreme cases, paralysis.

Keynote speakers on stress prevention focus on what can be done to prevent stress – it is indeed possible to do something.
