Describe yourself in 3 words. Why these words?

Polymath: Over the course of my life I have had the opportunity to learn and practice many fields of knowledge which go from science, religion and art all the way to business, psychology or teaching which have given me resources and tools which I can combine now and share with others.

Resilient: Things have not always been smooth but I have learned key elements to reshape my reality in order to drive it the way I need it to, incorporating great teachings which have made me stronger on every step I take.

Resourceful: I believe is not only how many resources you may have in life but is all about how well you use the ones you have in order to fulfill your objectives.

What are your biggest goals in your life or career currently?

Flow is the main goal in everything I do. The challenge of always doing what I like, feeling it not as work but as personal development process makes me find new ways to help others on the way. As for professional goals, I would like to reach new countries in Europe and US where I have not gone before and be able to speak about different topics as well. As a personal goal I have set my family as a priority where I believe resides the biggest teachings we can take in life.

How did you begin your speaking career?

I was invited as an international buyer by a trade organization in Brazil which also requested me to speak about commerce in my country for around 500 business men. I remember this was a great experience for me and at the end, when I went off the stage, there was a line of people waiting for me to ask tons of questions about individual ideas they came up with during my speech; this inspired me to continue creating new and different keynote concepts and topics in different fields.

What types of results do clients experience after your programmes & keynotes?

The first thing attendees usually tell me is that they were able to  set into practice what they learned and also that some complex topics are made easy over the course of the keynotes with examples from everyday life experiences anyone can relate to.  Especially on some humanistic topics, I try to incorporate stage dynamics which might integrate the audience for a better experience. Something important to mention is that every keynote/program is different since I customize it to each audience I face. People tell me I inspire them to change something in their lives.

How do you prepare for speaking engagements?

The first thing is to get to know the best I can my clients expectations and their event and audience so I can customize the speaking engagement experience. Then I usually prepare challenging materials and questions in order to move the audience into a different thinking paradigm. Of course, physical and mental preparation is important and so I try to stay healthy and focused before every event so I can deliver the best.

Why is networking important in business?

One of my favorite quotes is: “Giving connects two people, the giver and the receiver, and this connection gives birth to a new sense of belonging” which was said by Deepak Chopra and which I believe is the essence of networking. Professionally over the years, I have had the experience of working with many business people from around the world which have given me the chance to explore the greatness of working together by giving and receiving propelling projects and creating communities.
