About Julie
Keynote
Speaker Julie Otto fell in love with golf when she was only 11 years old.
During her successful career as an amateur golfer, Julie won 14 national championships: among these were six English Championships, three British championships, two Spanish championships and the Australian Amateur championship. Furthermore, Julie has twice been named “Woman Golfer of the Year” by The Daily Telegraph. She has also been a member of The Professional Golfers’ Association since 2014.
Julie’s career in golf has extended far beyond simply playing it.
Julie has organised and run many golf events worldwide. Working for The R&A in St Andrews as Assistant Director of Rules, Julie refereed at nine Open Championships as well as guest refereeing on the PGA European Tour, PGA Senior Tour and at the Solheim Cup.
As a golf speaker Julie Otto has given many talks on her experiences within the game of golf. Julie delivers her talks with professionalism and warmth. Her goal is to both entertain and to help develop golfers to reach their fullest potential, no matter what point they’re starting from.
